Due to the ongoing challenging circumstances in Pakistan, the Government has announced financial aid of 25,000 rupees through the Ehsaas Program and the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) via the 8171 initiative. This decision was prompted by the severe impact of floods, particularly in the Sindh and Balochistan regions, where rising waters have caused loss of life and livestock.
The government aims to provide economic relief to those who have suffered losses of both loved ones and livestock during these disasters through the Ehsaas Program. Each affected family is eligible for a grant of 25,000 rupees.
To facilitate the registration process for the Ehsaas Program and BISP assistance, an online portal has been launched. If you’ve been affected by the floods and wish to check your eligibility, you can now verify your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) online for the 25,000 rupee grant. There are two ways to apply for this assistance:
- Online Application: If you have internet access, you can apply through the BISP 8171 Ehsaas 25000 program online portal. Simply enter your CNIC and mobile SIM number, register your ID card, and input your provided code. After submitting this information, you will receive immediate feedback on your eligibility status and the status of your NSER cash check.
- In-Person Registration: To register for the Ehsaas Program, visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office. Complete your NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry) registration, and once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive the 25,000 rupee assistance.

- Send your National Identity Card number to the government’s designated number.
- Type your National Identity Card number and send it to 871.
- Ensure that you use your personal SIM card registered to your ID number for this message.
- You will promptly receive a response confirming your eligibility.

Receiving the 25,000 Rupees from BISP
The process for receiving this financial aid is straightforward. If you are eligible under the Benazir Income Support Program and have received the eligibility message, you can visit your nearest HBL ATM to withdraw the amount.
