Here’s how to do it

  1. Open your mobile device’s messaging app.
  2. Enter your CNIC number in the message.
  3. After inputting your CNIC, type “8171%” in the message.
  4. Send your CNIC number to 8171, and await a confirmation SMS.
  5. The SMS will provide information about your funds and whether your Benazir Income Support Program account has received the funds or not.
  6. If you receive confirmation of successful fund reception, you’ll also get details about when and where to collect the funds.
  7. If you don’t receive the confirmation SMS, visit the designated government registration center to verify your fund details.
  8. For any grievances, contact the Benazir Income Support Program headquarters via the Islamabad helpline number and register your complaints.

After registering for the Benazir Income Support Program, you’ll require a Tracking ID to check your eligibility. You can obtain your tracking ID by visiting your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office. Alternatively, if you can’t visit the office, you can use your ID card to check eligibility by entering your ID card number.

As of now, there is no update regarding the payment of new assistance amounts from the Benazir Income Support Program. Any new information in this regard will be communicated to you. Note that the monthly installment of 9000 rupees from April to June continues. If you haven’t received the quarterly installment due in June, you can visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office to collect it.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the program, you must meet certain criteria:

  1. A female member must be part of your family.
  2. The CNIC of a female family member must be verified by NADRA.
  3. Individuals with physical or mental disabilities within the family are eligible.
  4. Family members employed in the government sector are not eligible.
  5. The family’s combined monthly income should not exceed 10,000 rupees.
  6. Cultivated land registered in your name should not exceed three acres.
  7. Possessing a passport disqualifies you.
  8. Residency abroad is not allowed.
  9. Holding a bank account within Pakistan is not permitted.
  10. Owning a foreign bank account also renders you ineligible.
