It’s important to note that online registration for the Ehsaas Program, Benazir Income Support Program, and other financial assistance programs is not available. Registration is exclusively conducted at the Benazir Income Support Program office. You can verify your eligibility, check your payment status, and assess your poverty score online. Below, we provide detailed instructions to assist you.
In response to the current global inflation and its impact on the economy and people’s income, the government has reduced the cash assistance amount to 14,000 rupees. The Emergency Cash Program is administered through the Benazir Income Support Program and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund. This program will encompass nine million families, with registration taking place through the Tehsil Office of the Benazir Income Support Program.
Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program Online Registration Using CNIC
Eligibility for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program is restricted to impoverished and deserving individuals. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Your poverty score (PMT) should be less than 30.
- Financial assistance is provided to victims of landslides and the COVID-19 pandemic.
- You should not own more than two acres of land.
- Your passport should not be valid, and you should not have traveled abroad.

Under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, financial assistance of Rs 25,000 is being provided to individuals recently affected by natural disasters, such as floods. You can check your eligibility by texting your CNIC to 8171.
How to Register for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program
The registration process for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program is straightforward:
- Visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office with your National Identity Card (CNIC) and your children’s B Form.
- Present your ID card to receive a survey token, which is free of charge.
- Wait for your turn; you will be called when it’s your time.
- Provide all the necessary information during the survey.
- After completing the survey, you will receive a message via 8171, instructing you to visit your nearest cash center to collect the money.

How to Check Ehsaas Program Payment
The Ehsaas program has started disbursing funds for the new installment. If you haven’t received a message to collect money from 8171, you can check your payment status through two methods:

- Utilize the government’s online portal to check your eligibility from the comfort of your home. Enter your ID card number and the code displayed in the picture. Press the “Know” button, and your eligibility will be displayed immediately.
Method 2:
- If you are less tech-savvy, you can check your eligibility by sending your ID card number via text message to 8171. You will receive a confirmation message promptly.
