Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reintroduced the initiative to provide laptops to young individuals. You can now submit your applications online starting from 1st october, 2023.

As part of the PM Youth Laptop Scheme, students will have the opportunity to apply online and receive a variety of laptops. The Government of Pakistan has announced the revival of this scheme under the Prime Minister Youth Programme.

Under this scheme, one hundred thousand laptops will be distributed among students. The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Affairs, Shazia Fatimah, has assured that these laptops will be provided free of charge, with the aim of encouraging and empowering the recipients.

Online Application for PM Laptop Scheme

In the past, the Ayat Commission Education oversaw this program’s implementation. Under PMNFNA-2, the Education Commission served as the implementing agency for the program. Approximately five hundred thousand laptops were successfully distributed to federal and FATA colleges, public sector universities, and technical colleges through a transparent and streamlined process.

Distribution and Application Process

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is responsible for purchasing and distributing these top-of-the-line laptops. Eligible individuals can apply online through the service portal. During the application process, you must register and update your profile, including adding your photos.

To apply, simply click on the application button. In case of any issues, you can contact their official support and lodge a complaint.

The selection process involves eligible students submitting their applications online. The university’s designated Focal Person verifies the information, including the student’s name, title, degree level, and academic performance. The university’s Focal Person is responsible for managing the admission process.

Once the verification process is complete, the university will receive its allocation of laptops based on predefined criteria. If there are any errors in the data, students can rectify them by updating their information.
