Additionally, the Government of Pakistan has announced an expansion of the program’s reach. A total of 9 million families will now be included in the Benazir Income Support Program and will receive financial assistance. The registration process has also been modified to accommodate these changes.
Checking Your Payment Status Online
Many women have received notifications to receive payments through 8171. If you haven’t received such a message, you can easily check your payment status using one of the following methods:
Method 1 (Online Payment Check)
- Access the government’s dedicated portal from the comfort of your home.
- Enter your 13-digit ID card number in the first field and the code displayed in the image in the second field.
- Click the “Know” button, and you will receive immediate information about your payment status.
- If prompted for a dynamic survey, refer to the instructions below.
Method 2 (Payment via 8171)
If you encounter any difficulties checking your payment online or are not tech-savvy, you can still verify your payment through your mobile phone. The process is straightforward:
- Open your messaging app.
- Compose a new message.
- Type your National Identity Card number and send it to 8171.
- You will shortly receive a confirmation message regarding your payment status.
Benazir Income Support Program Registration
If you have not yet registered for the Benazir Income Support Program or have been deemed ineligible, there is no need to worry. You can easily enroll in the program and receive financial assistance through the following methods:
Method 1 (Online Registration)
If you prefer to register online from the comfort of your home, the government of Pakistan has introduced a web portal for online registration. Follow these steps:
- Access the government’s designated portal.
- Provide accurate information as requested.
- Click the “Submit” button. Your information will be forwarded to the Benazir Income Support Program office.
- After verification, you will receive a confirmation message via 8171.
Method 2 (Registration via BISP Tehsil Office)
If, for any reason, you are unable to register online or receive a message requesting a dynamic survey, you will need to complete an NSER survey through the Office of Benazir Income Support Program:
- Visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office with your ID card and children’s bay form.
- Obtain a token and wait for your turn.
- Request a representative to conduct a dynamic survey.
- Provide all requested information during the survey.
- Based on the collected information, your eligibility status will be determined.
- If deemed ineligible, you may update your information if your financial circumstances have changed or if you have developed a medical condition.
- You will receive a message to collect your payment via 8171 a few days after registration.
